1808 to 1889 Confederate states Beloved President .

 

Alexander H. Stephens Confederate States Vice President

  1812 to 1883  One of the leaders in the Souths right to secede.

The Most Honorable, General Robert E. Lee.

  1807 to 1870  Intelegent, strong leadership made him the obvious choice for President Davis to post Lee as primary General of the CSA.

General Thomas J. Jackson

  1824 to 1863  Best known as "Stonewall Jackson".  Upon his death General Lee stated "I have lost my right arm with the death of Jackson".

General Joseph J. Johnson

  1807 to 1891  Many Southern supporters thought General Johnston should have been chosen the commanding general over General Lee.

General Ambrose Power Hill

  1825 t o1865  In his red battle shirt, Hill was known for his hard hitting attacks.

Major General James Ewell Brown Stuart

  1833 to 1864   Considered the most accomlished calvary leader of all the Civil War.

Senior Lt. General James Longstreet

  1821 to 1904  Longstreet was known for his exemplary service to the CSA.

General Pierce Gustov Toutant Beauregard

  1818 to 1893  One of the early Confederate heroes.

General Richard Stoddert Ewell

  1817 to 1872  Known as a most important assett to the CSA, due to his extrordinary abilities.

General Nathan Bedford Forrest

  1821 to 1877  Ruthless and always forward pushing CSA General.

General Wade Hampton

  1818 to 1902  Commander of the calvary corps., known for always being in the action and wounded in three different battle.

General John B. Hood

  1831 to 1879  Known for his aggressiveness, his policy was to take the offensive at any cost.

Brigadier General Stephen Dill Lee.

  1833 to 1908  Best known for his "CHARGE TO THE SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS".
