SCV Memorial Rebuild & Rededication, Walhalla, S.C.

A sincere thank you to, Mr. Luther Lyle and Mr. Keith Collins, Sons of Confederate Veterans and Mr. Wayne McCall for their Superior craftsmanship rebuilding the cannon.

During the early 70's a group of young rebels thought it would be fun to put some explosives in the cannon barrel; well, it was a disasterous decision.  The cannon barrel was severely damaged.  The cannon sat damaged until 2003 when SCV camp 1959 decided to have the unit rebuilt, along with the cannon rebuild a new carriage was bought to finish the project properly.
